The perfect getaway weekend! Brian and Julie were wonderful hosts for our no kids weekend. Our time was exactly as advertised on their website. A clean, renovated inn in a wonderful location run by wonderful people. A truly genuine experience. I highly recommend.

Amazing staff in an absolutely gorgeous location. The Inn itself is right out of a Hallmark movie. Every little detail is carefully crafted and implemented to make your stay an excellent experience. I only have a few images of the lounge areas outside of the large barn/event space but check out their website for really good pictures. Exceptional start to finish.

Bear Mountain Inn is such a special place. My husband and I were lucky enough to have a wedding here on October 10th and it can only be described as magical. Cassie, Julie, and Brian became fast friends and we look forward to staying in touch for many years to come. Our guests said it was the most beautiful venue they’ve ever been to and the experience is luxurious. No detail is spared! The rooms are incredibly comfortable and lavish. The barn is gorgeous with chandelier details and a perfect layout for dinner and dancing. The grounds are peaceful and we even heard the most beautiful bird calls during our vows.nnIt’s an experience we’ll cherish forever. Their team of vendors is five stars and includes the best that Maine has to offer. We would book them again in a heartbeat and are already planning a weekend trip back!

This inn on Bear Pond in Waterford, Maine is an updated quintessentially Maine experience. Beautifully redone with thoughtful details and multiple lodging options (the main lodge with private rooms, a cabin for two, or the Post & Beam that sleeps 8). There is a beautiful overlook of the pond complete with fire pit and a sloping lawn down to the lake. Hammocks, a trail, and the point has a nice beach where you can take advantage of the kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes.nnJulie and Brian, who run Bear Mountain are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. The staff are friendly and make an incredible breakfast. We really enjoyed our short stay and are making plans to return. This a great place to stay with friends and family, or for a romantic getaway, year-round!
