My husband and I like to go up to Freeport once a year for some holiday shopping, and we are thrilled to have found the Kendall Tavern Inn a few years back. It is now our go to place for our yearly trip. Mark and Nancy are incredible hosts who make sure you are taken care of and truly take the time to get to know each of their guests. We are always impressed with how much they remember about us when we go back. Rooms are always nice and clean, food is delicious, and the conversations are always entertaining. Thank you Mark and Nancy for all you do to make your guests feel comfortable.
We stayed just one night and I wish we'd been able to stay longer. Mark and Nancy made us feel very welcome and our room was very comfortable. Breakfast lived up to my high expectations - wonderful food, excellent coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and great banter! Everybody else staying at the same time seemed to be repeat visitors, which says a lot. Mark gave us some helpful advice about places to visit nearby, and I look forward to visiting again next time we're in the area.

Mark and Nancy are amazing hosts! We booked a room last minute, and there were freshly baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we got there. The inn is very cute and cozy. Our room was spotless, and the clean, comfortable bed was just what we needed to recharge after a night of camping! Coffee was ready in the morning, and breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be returning!
Beautiful Inn. Very clean, comfy bed. We loved staying here and would come again. Nancy and Mark are the best. We had homemade blueberry muffin, balsamic watermelon salad, ham,cheese and spinach frittata with parmesan potatoes for breakfast. They can also accommodate food allergies. One of the best places to stay.
