Great location as I have stayed here many times in the past. This trip however was very disappointing. An unruly and very noisy hotel guest at midnight was the issue. I personally reported the issue to the front desk attendant at around 0030. The next day I spoke with the General Manager who seemed disinterested with meeting with me. I then followed up the following day with an email. Once again she seemed disinterested and “bothered” with my reaching out to her. She offered zero compensation, no true explanation or remedies. Though convenient, I would recommend staying elsewhere.
The walls are so thin we could hear the room next to us as clear as if they were in our room. The train sounds like the second coming of Christ. The bathroom is the size of the hole they found saddam Hussein in. Other than that not a bad hotel. Great location as it is walking distance from downtown Freeport.
Convenient, yes. Thin walls= No privacy! I am sitting at the desk and can hear the neighbor urinating!! Heard the neighbor burp excessively last night...disgusting! There is one room between me & the fitness room and could feel the pounding of the tread mill like my heart was in my throat. Good thing the fitness room is not open 24 hours! You can hear the kids in the pool at 7 am. Glad they can enjoy it but you won't if you like to sleep in. Yes, a bit snobby as another review mentioned - $1 for in room water bottle - free only to members w/elite status! If you hapoen to be on the railroad side, beware it will scare you when the train comes through. I dont understand how construction so flimsy is permitted. The setting is pleasing to the eyes but not to the ears!
Comfortable and clean. Staff made you feel welcome. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Freeport.
Always nice and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Just wish we could open windows a little for fresh fall air. Rooms get stuffy sometimes.nI wish they would do a happy guest hour or two of wine tasting complimentary for guest in evening.nGreat location. Easy walking to all the stores and shops.
