What a great little spot to get away. The owners are fantastic and friendly. Food was amazing ending the day with homemade peach crumble. You feel as if you're at home as soon as you walk in the door. Views are fantastic. On the way out the owner gave us some fresh made whoopie pies which were the best I've ever had. Would definitely go back for a weekend getaway.
Awesome owners treat you like family and the location can not be beat. View of Mount Katahdin in the distance from the living room and view of East Grand from the dining room.nnExcellent winter sports location. Local sled club maintains very good snowmobile trails which pass the lodge. Very quick trip to the lake by sled for ice fishing or just go riding.nnFood is very good. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Good parking for trailers and sleds.
We had a fine dinner there last night! The food was excellent! Service was great! First settlers lodge never disappoints.
The name of the Outlook across the street says it all for the area alone. Million Dollar View. and when one turns around standing still and just looks across the street it is continued in the Lodge and grounds.nnThey made Myself and Son feel right at home. and the food was for the area was second to none. looking forward for a reason to come back lolnnHighly recommend.
Absolutely beautiful lodge and the friendliest of host's. The breakfast and dinner was delicious, broccoli fresh from the garden that could not be beat. Will be back sooner then later .
