This is a great park! Not overly crowded, plenty of space! We hiked some of the many trails and they are in great shape and well worth the views! We also tuned and swam in the river, which is cool and fairly clear. Facilities were clean and our campsite was nice! Definitely one of my new favorite state parks!
Nice, tidy park and campground. Lots of trails and good bird watching.
Nice hiking/biking trails surround the camping area. The pads are narrow in the water/electric loop.
Excellent place to relax and enjoy the river. Great hikes and bird watching. At night you can enjoy star gazing. The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas. Love the place, camping was great.
Great nature areas, beautiful river, nice campground, great hiking and biking paths. Friendly office staff.
