The pool was closed during my stay.
Pictures made this place look awesome, was extremely disappointed when it wasn’t. Arrived 2/23/21 around 730, lady at the front desk was amazing and quick to get me checked in and was by far the best thing about this place. Got to my room for it to have a fishy smell, no biggie thought I could fight through it and it became the least of my problems. Ran to dinner and arrived back around 10, laid down to get some sleep and that’s when I started to get itchy. I saw no bugs or anything in this bed to be clear, but something was irritating my skin in the worst way. I moved to the couch and was almost immediately irritated by the neighbors being loud on one side and the other neighbors kept going in and out of the room. This went on until 2am when I finally decided I’d had enough and decided to take a shower and leave. There was no water pressure in that room, I did what I could with it and checked out. Paid for the night there and only stayed 6 hour total, got a refund for 2/24 and slept in my car in a parking lot the rest of the night.nnBeware of this place if you actually plan on using the room for sleeping or getting comfortable
The person in charge of making breakfast on Saturday was very rude. We got there a little past 7 am (I had to go to work) and she came out and in a condescending voice told my wife that they don't open until 7:30 on Saturdays, and oh, by the way, you don't have a mask on and you have to wear one in the breakfast area. If she had made the coffee a little early she could have had a cup or three; perhaps that would have made her a little more pleasant...maybe.
I loved it! Only 15 bucks and my American bulldog got to stay with me! Very nice clean rooms and wonderful staff. I'll definitely stay again and I highly recommend it!
Thank you so much Casey, Amanda for going above and beyond for taking care of your guests! The way you guys took care of your customers was beyond any words of expression. Last few days were tough for Texas and you made so many people smile. THANK YOU AGAIN
