What a difference a day makes. HI Exp in Le Roy IL was fantastic. This one is conversely poor. Dingy and dated. Bugs in the lights. Bath vent fan FULL of gunk. I tripped on the old, stretched out carpeting.

I stay here often for business.nAlmost my second home.nThe staff is awesome and friendly.nThe surroundings are peaceful.nnThey are planning renovations this summer and planning to open the swimming pool this year ud83dude00

Cliff was extremely helpful with everything we needed, and even called up to the room to ensure we had everything we needed. Room was very clean and comfortable. Extremely happy with our stay!

My Daughter, her husband and son stayed Wednesday night, got there at 11pm, very tired, I met them there to greet them. The hotel advertises as a no pets allowed, well on 2nd floor rm 217,219, or 221 there was a little yelping dog. The Fan in bathroom didn't work, hotel rooms definitely need updating. The room was small compared to most holiday inn expresses I've been in. At 11:30pm I went to front desk, explained I would like to be able to greet my grandson in morning so I was thinking about getting a rm there, I asked since it was nearing midnight and we'd be out by 9am if I could get a room for 89.99 or just make the total $100. asked if they could just put it down as a military veteran discount, which I showed her ID. The room my daughter had was a little small and outdated. Daughter paid $126. For it, so I figured it being so late they could easily give me a rm for $100. Not long ago I was a GM at a hotel and know it's very possible and actually I told my associates that after 11pm and before midnight if you can sell a single night for 100 flat do it. Break even for a rm is about $32 dollars. They were Foolish for turning it down. They had 10 empty rooms, and threw away $100 and a chance to prove good customer service relations. So they sold one room for $126, but could have sold 2 rooms for a total of $226. Foolish desk clerk said no, she said best they can do is $118. Fools. I said never mind, I'll come back in am. The principal of it was lost on the non-business wise fool. Holiday inn expresses are usually good hotels, NOT this one. It's very out dated and over priced. And they don't enforce the no pets.

We booked this hotel a few weeks in advance for our trip back from spring break in florida. Hotels in this area are always full for our trips back. We had the ability to choose any hotel, but usually stay at Holiday Inn Expresses (HIE). This was the worst one we have ever been too. Upon entering the second floor, the stench of mold, smoke, and mildew aggravated my wifes allergies/asthma immediately. Upon entering our room, the smell was unbearable. There were stains on every couch, chair, and bed. There was a huge puddle of water in the carpet near the A/C. We did not stay. Of course, all hotels were booked for hundreds of miles, so we headed to the nearest rest area. Then we slept in our vehicle during the horrible storms.
