Tennessee River Gorge Island Cabins

We rented the RV for 2 nights. We were in awe of the beauty and serenity of this place. The RV was comfortable and had all we needed to disconnect and relax. Chuck was a wonderful host. Very friendly owners and went out of their way to make our time wonderful. We will definitely be back! The kayaking was a great experience. Everything you need for a perfect little getaway.

We stayed in cabin 3 and it was the perfect getaway for my wife and I. We loved the rain on the tin roof. Chuck was great only a minute away if you need him. He even had bait for fishing and dry firewood. Cabin was clean and very cozy!!!

We stayed in cabin 2 and LOVED IT!!! My dad came from Michigan to celebrate his 70th birthday. He enjoyed it a lot. Fishing wasn’t to good as it was cold and rained a whole night and day but that’s weather for ya. Lol. The cabin was very well accommodated. Loved being able to wash our clothes and not worry about running out of “paper plate” as they had ALL the fixings there including the sheets, blankets, towels, wash rags, dish soap, fire wood, everything! Definitely will be going back. Gonna try to make this an annual event. Thank you chuck for the welcoming and great hospitality.

We stayed in Cabin #1 over Thanksgiving weekend and had a lovely time. The cabin kitchen was generously stocked with anything you needed to cook, and the views were just breathtaking being right on the water. The owner is nearby and very attentive to anything you need during your stay. Lovely weekend getaway.

Enjoyed our 4-day trip in cabin #1. It was exactly as pictured. The cabin was cozy and right on the water. Having a campfire and the outdoor chairs by the water was quite enjoyable! We also enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the river. It is incredibly beautiful out there! We will be coming back soon for another stay. It was also not a bad drive out to Chattanooga to do things in town and in Rock City. It was very remote and quiet, which we both thoroughly enjoyed.
