Super clean pet friendly room. It was a very quiet night. I got some good sleep and so did my 3 dogs.

Rooms were clean and neat. Property in the middle of renovations. No breakfast as advertised, due to CV-19. Clean place to stop, test and break up a trip.

I just spent the week in some pretty nasty hotels on my way back home stopped here, I walked into that room I felt like a King,it was clean had all the amenities that I needed and then some the shower actually had water pressure it was awesome it's clean comfortable and a fine establishment right along the interstate very convenient thank you for the fine service

So, I made a reservation using points + cash at this hotel for a 2 double bed, non-smoking suite. It appeared as such in my Choice account and in the email I received confirming my reservation. When we arrived, we were placed in a non-smoking 2 double room – not the suite. I called the front desk and was told “well, it didn’t come across that way to us.” I advised that I could show her my reservation and she said, “well, that’s not what I see.” So I asked her, “does that mean you won’t honor my reservation?” And she said “yep.”nnNow, it didn’t honestly matter that much but I’d never been treated so rudely at a Choice hotel, especially a blatant refusal to honor my actual reservation. I called the Choice Hotels customer service who contacted the hotel office because they also saw that my reservation was for a suite but that the hotel had changed it. The office told customer service that they did not have the authorization to honor the reservation and would have to contact a manager. Customer Service said to call them back if I had not received an update from the office in 30 minutes. I did not.nnI called Customer Service back and also asked to be released from the reservation so I could go elsewhere. They called the office, again, and were told the same thing (apparently being unable to reach a manager) as well as being unable to authorize me to leave without manager approval. They asked for ANOTHER 30 minutes. Again, I had to call Customer Service because I heard nothing from the office.nnMy third call to Customer Service, now at an hour of trying to resolve WHY I wasn’t being given the room from my actual reservation, Customer Service called the office AGAIN. They were told, again, that they office could not reach a manager and that they could not let me out of the reservation without manager approval. When Customer Service came back to me I let them know we had plans that night and that this was getting ridiculous. The hotel needed to let me go or give me the room I asked for. Customer Service called the office and they were miraculously and suddenly able to release me from my reservation (but not honor my reservation) without the manager’s approval.nnSo, I looked for a different hotel but there were none nearby and the event we were there for was only a few miles away. I looked on the Choice website and low-and-behold, the room I had originally reserved was STILL available. So, I called reservations and they were able to make a NEW reservation for the Suite, the room that I had reserved to begin with! I asked them to stay on the phone while I went back to the office to get my keys for my NEW reservation. The man in the front office, Nick I believe Customer Service said, took my new reservation number, did not ask again for my ID and credit card (which means he knew exactly who I was and that I had already been checked in to the wrong room earlier), and issued new keys. He had me sign the new documents for check-in and said, “this is all the same as before except the room is farther down and is a suite.”nnREALLY? Over 90 minutes, 3 calls to Customer Service AND the need to cancel and create a new reservation JUST FOR THEM TO HONOR THE ORIGINAL RESERVATION! I don’t normally complain or write about experiences but this one was 100% unacceptable. They blatantly refused to give me the room, out of spite? I don’t know. I should not have had to jump through the hoops I did in order to get the room that I had reserved! Instead of getting dinner before our event we instead had to deal with a front office staff hell-bent on making sure we didn’t get the suite.

The bed was comfortable, other than that don't plan on staying there again. Stained sheets (or at least we hope they were stained) blood on the shower mat. Pretty nasty over all.
