Best Western Kimball Inn

When we checked in the representative was nice but certainly could have used some help. On a Friday night I feel like there should be more than 1 person taking care of the entire place. We got ready for bed and turned down the covers to find the sheets had hair s left on them and were wrinkled like they hadn't been changed. I called the front desk and the lady said she could give us the last room she had left but at this point we had already unpacked and had got dressed for bed so we told her to just bring us clean sheets and we would change them ourselves. When we changed the sheets we found food crumbs and trash on the mattress pad. There was a plastic bag in the floor at the head of the bed which let me know the floor hadn't been swept. There was pubic hair and long black hair in the bathtub as well as hair in the bathroom floor. The bars and handles in the bathroom were very dusty. On a positive note, there were plenty of towels. I was going to get some ice until I looked at the ice bucket, it was dirty! Hair and crumbs, just dirty.nnAt checkout I talked to the manager and she apologized but acted like she didn't believe me and said all she could do is give me a 10 percent discount. So I got 15.00 taken off my bill. Of course, I asked if I needed to call corporate or the owner. House keeping in a hotel is important!!

Not a bad stay. Beds were nice & warm, mattresses & seams were all clean & free of unwanted pests. Room was clean.nnThere was a questionably stained chair in the corner & the room smelled like smoke though. Otherwise no issues

The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. The decor is pretty dated, but mostly clean. The location is great. The mattress however is an instrument of torture. Very uncomfortable.

Clean, comfortable room. Pet friendly. Friendly staff. Ice maker upstairs didn't work, but the one on the first floor worked so it wasn't a big deal. Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are nice, and clean. The bathrooms is a BIG must for me, and it's super clean! Sheets are nice and clean, not scratchy. I like the closet area they give, and how the set up makes it a nice transition from sleeping vs. getting ready. I have always liked Best Westeen.
