Franklin-Pearson House

This place is charming. It’s in a great location, a couple of blocks off of downtown and campus. The neighborhood is architecturally interesting and safe. And the breakfast is bountiful and well thought out.

What a lovely place to relax and enjoy a private weekend away. The tastefully interesting lobby/living room was welcoming and inviting, especially with the fire in the fireplace. (We visited in November.) Breakfast was scrumptious and didn't take all day so we could get on with our plans for seeing the area. I would definitely recommend Franklin-Pearson House!

Host very friendly and knew so much history of Cowan and Sewanee.nSewanee special for potential Sewanee student makes it an even better deal! Aussie Smothers room upstairs has bedroom, sitting room, private bath. also small shared shower at end of hall if needed. open sitting space upstairs. cat is friendly like the host. even stayed in our room for an hour. Be prepared with noise maker and ear plugs. cowan train whistle blows all during the night!

Cannot say enough about how beautiful the space is or how excellent the service is at this establishment! They helped make my baby shower perfect!
