Room wasn’t overall to bad but needs updates on beds, lamp shades and blankets on the beds . Glad it was wood floors and no carpet . Water in shower drains very slow and your standing in water the entire time your showering. Me and my husband both came home with some sort of bites on our arms, chest and hands. We sprayed Lysol on everything upon arrival as we always do and searched the beds for bed bugs but did not see anything. If the bites are bed bugs they were hidden until we went to sleep. Probably will never stay here again.
The floors were nasty needed sweeping & mopping. The coffee filters didn't fit the pot and I burned my fingers. The beds were clean and we had plenty of fresh towels when ever we needed them. The pool was nice to. But the outside smelled of to many cigarette smokers. When we first pulled in to checked in we couldn't park next to the building because of what looked like party going on outside.
I liked it had a small park along with the typical pool for smaller kids

Looked like a normal motel from the outside but on the inside we found hair in the shower, The shower didnt even let all the water pull though the shower head, 90% of the hot water came out of the faucet. The tub barely drained. A lighter on one of the beds and the towels were as stiff as a 2x4. We had to wipe a black substance off of the bathroom floor as well as dead bugs. Refrigerator barley even worked and the freezer didn't work at all. The vending machine outside of the room literally takes your money and wont dispense anything to you and won't give you your change back.nnI've never stayed in a motel at Cherokee before in my 25 years of living but this has to be Far none the worst one around.nnSimply put DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY STAYING HERE.
