Friendly staff....lobby is very nice. They offer a breakfast bag each morning. Room was clean and neat. Sink drained slowly and shower head needs to be replaced. And it's time for new mattresses....they have spring mattresses. The phone didn't work...they couldn't hear me at the front desk. If they make some repairs this will be a good value for sure.
Nice older hotel, here are the pros:nThey have a small park which is great for the kids, very friendly staff, our room was clean, we had a flat screen TV, close to the town, and there is a pool-not open yet but it's there.nCons: the bed is terribly small not a regular queen size more of a full and thin. The outside noise is heard inside so at 7 am I overheard 2 gentle men talking about driving 6 hours versus 5. And the carts that people use are really loud!nOverall a good hotel though and I would use again because of the price.
The only reason I am giving a 1 star is the mattress and heat and refrigerator were all good. The cons- shower and sink clearly had a blockage down the line. The toilet base was loose and the valve was bad so sitting on the toilet was a challenge. I had informed the front desk and was told maybe the maintenance guy will show up. Which he never did. In the end they did take off some of the charge but were very disrespectful in the process. So I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. I will spend that extra 20 dollars for a better hotel.
Rooms were not vacuumed at all there was stuff all over the floor. We requested a new room and the lady was in no hurry to get us one. Once we got a new room quite a bit later the bathroom had no running water, the toilet wouldn’t flush. This was the worst experience I have ever had at any place. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. This place is not clean and the service is awful.
It was not as great as it has been when we stayed overnight. The shower curtain was torn. It was moldy. The room was supposed to have a king size bed but it didn't. The beds looked awful like they should by new ones. They went to an awful breakfast. We use to get eggs, grits,toast,etc.,but now it comes in a bag. We was told it would have juice and a granola bar but it came with 1 bottle of water, a fruit mix cup, and 1 blueberry muffin. 2 of us came but we only got one bagged breakfast...and it was terrible.
