Allure of the lake is a beautiful home with excellent views and access to the lake. The management was also helpful until it came to the sewer smell that began on day 2. We were told that it was just “unfortunate” and were not willing to fix the problem as it had been pumped the previous Friday. Apparently the septic does not accommodate the number of people the home says it is rated for. Be prepared to have the lovely odor accompany you at dinner meals inside and outside on the covered porch which held one of best views of the place. They attempted to cover the smell by multiple plug-in’s but it would increase nightly and at one point we had to open all the doors and windows to help alleviate the smell. A credit would have been greatly appreciated but never offered even with multiple complaints. Only told it was unfortunate.
