Great course!
Had a good time. Course in good condition. Always fun to play Foxfire.
Had the pleasure of playing the Red(West) course this past Sunday. There was nothing fancy about this course but I really did enjoy it. It was definitely more of a challenge than I thought it would be. Some long 4's and 3's because of being uphill. The greens rolled true for the most part which was a treat. The only complaint I had really was the bunkers. They were really course sand with some rocks of some sort mixed in. It had not rained the day we played but most were hard and wet in the bottom which made them extremely difficult to judge. I know I should have avoided them but I found them often during this round lol. They certainly had them in the right places for the pin placement that day to say the least. Will definitely play again in the future.
2 Quality courses, congenial staff, value.
This could easily be four stars. Didnt get his name, (tall guy with a beard and glasses) acted as if it was a hassel to get my group ice for a cooler and had an attitude when asked about the conditions of the courses. (Younger guy was amazing!) Everything else was great! Course is getting better! Will be 5 stars soon!
