My best compliments and appreciation to all at The Country Club of Whispering Pines. My husband and I are honored to stay for two months while our new home is getting ready and we felt truly welcome. Claudia was professional and helpful with all especially during this pandemic. Dave solved all our WIFI issues! The restaurant has a wonderful menu and a first class staff!
Average municipal golf course! Greens were not in good shape at all. Round was quick since course was essentially empty. Was part of golf package but I would not play again.
Lunch staff and management were great... They got me fed, and got me a room (I don't plan ahead). Even helped manage my dog. Truly a full service experience, with a smile.
Too cold to play. #9 does not go back to club house which made it tough getting back running through golfers on most holes.
The River course at Whispering PinesnThe greens were absolutely the worst I have ever played!!! No warning whatsoever from the pro shop, Or the package provider. No starter no ranger on the course. All 18 greens were sand, newly seeded, uncut and some spots unplayable. As the group organizer I would have not allowed our group to play the course. If we would have been made aware of the condition of the greens before teeing off we perhaps could have found tee times somewhere else.nNeedless to say I do not recommend this course and I will never book another round here again.
