Motion makers Cherokee has always been great for us. They have help us out multiple times. This last time my son ripped the rear derailleur off. They were quick to diagnose the problem and help us come up with a great solution to go to an affordable 1x system. Luckily parts were available and we were able to get the repair done in less than a week. Thanks for the great service I know we will be back again.

What a great bike shop! Luke fixed us right up with an emergency repair despite showing up near closing time on the Columbus Day holiday. Talk about great customer service. Cherokee is lucky to have a quality LBS in town. Thanks, again.

I was visiting Fire Mountain from out of town when my tubeless tires stopped holding air in the middle of the mountain! We saw this place was literally right across the street and stopped by and they diagnosed the problem very fast. They needed to be re-taped and the man working wasn’t sure if he could be able to get it done because I had come in close to closing time. He guaranteed one wheel to be done but not the other. I told him to do what he could, and he finished both an hour earlier than expected. Super polite people! I don’t remember the man’s name who fixed my bike, but Sarah rung us up and was very nice! These people will go out of their way to help you out, stop by if you’re in Cherokee.

Came to Cherokee for the weekend to ride Fire Mountain. Had a but of an issue with my bike, and this place is incredible. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be sure to stop by!

I came into store located in Cherokee. I asked the guy when I got inside store if he had time to look at my bike? The reason I brought it to the bike store is because my bike gear was searching and and wasn’t clicking over properly. He said sure bring it on in. I got it an brought it into store. He took it back an put it on the bike rack. He told me he will charge me a fee for looking at it. I said that is ok with me. So I walked around store browsing while he was working on bike. Then I came back around to see where he was on my bike. I observed him working on bike because maybe if it was something simple I can do to prevent having to stop in an have to have the techs look at it.The Guy mumbled something I didn’t quite hear what he said. He continued to work on my bike. Then he siad my derailur was bent. The reason for that was I had a cheap derailur on my bike. To prevent that I needed to upgrade to a better one. The guy removed derailur and stuck a rode in the derailur slot-hole and started to bend an shimmy that rod. The guy mumbled something else then took my bike from that rack an took it to the bike rack in back.which I can still see. I was ud83eudd37‍♂ufe0f stumped on what he was doing. Then he said he got it taken care of- he said in a weird tone see what things can get done when I have space. I was like ok??? I wasn’t hovering over the worker I was standing looking at my bike. Then I had items to check out with cause I looked around store. He made a point to tell me it’s not like I yelled at you at least I was nice about it. I was just confused on the whole situation. I also asked him about local discounts- because I am from Cherokee born an raised. The other guy asked another customer prior if he was local. This happened to be the 2nd time I been to a motion makers an had a bad experience. I have had a specialized bike in past but I did not like that specialized bike overal. I ride a Niner Air and it rides better than that Specialized. If that is too cheap of a bike for my business I think all your customers need to know that cause I know plenty of people that does not ride specialized only. So I am giving that store a 1 star rating which I really should give you all a no Star but it won’t allow me to do that.
