The owners, Dixie and Tracey were so welcoming and kind. We came down just for one night to see Marc Rebillet’s drive in concert at Hound’s Drive In and had a great time! The breakfast in the morning was fabulous, and hearing about the history of this building was impressive. The place is so well decorated. The owners did an amazing job with this place! We had a wonderful time and will be back to visit them next time we are out this way.
The property is beautiful and very clean. Tracy and staff were very friendly and accommodating as we were here for my sons wedding in Gastonia. Breakfast each morning was delicious. They have done a wonderful job renovating this nearly 100 year old home and keeping its charm in the process. Close to downtown and freeway access. Thank you for our wonderful visit.
My husband and I spent one night at the York Chester Inn. The home is absolutely gorgeous, and the hosts were super friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the mid century modern room. The room was perfect! The bed was comfy, the decor was appropriate to the theme, and the bathroom was unique. The location is convenient to downtown, and we walked to a restaurant suggested by the hosts. We were only able to stay one night, but we will definitely be back. If you’re in the area, you should consider staying here!
I was able to see the place before they completely renovated. The work that they have done is phenomenal. The owners are very kind and quite attentive. I love old houses anyway. And the unique structure, decor, and history behind this house as well as the owners extensive knowledge of all of these things is extremely impressive. If nothing else, you should go just to take a tour oh, if they are willing and have time, and listen to all the history.
Tracy and Dickson were absolutely wonderful and very polite. Our room was very clean. The bed was so comfortable and breakfast the next morning was amazing! Everything was so nice! We can't wait to come back!
