10 out of 10! The Owls Perch is an amazing yet adventurous cabin nestled just over Squally Creek. Alice and Doug with their 13yo dog are amazing as well. They keep the place clean, they are more than accommodating, and just perfect people to hang out with if you wanted to. The drive there is worth the stay. Off the beaten path awaits your heavenly stay in the woods. Have fun! All pictures were taken around the surrounding area.

We loved our stay at The Owl Perch. The rushing river outside was like your own personal noise machine ( which I loved). Very secluded and adorable lodging.

Looking back over our vacation we wish we had spent more time at the Owl's Perch. What an incredible experience. From the scenic drive to the bunkhouse, ending on the deck listening to the Squally Creek below, has made for some wonderful memories! Alice you and Doug made us feel welcome, right at home and answered every question. The bunkhouse was charming, inviting and the breakfast was above and beyond what we expected.. We look forward to seeing you again.

Never have I felt so much attention go into a cozy little room. Alice, Doug and Skip(their pup) really goes out here way to make you feel welcome! The drive in is scary but it's worth the drive to get this once in a lifetime experience.

If you looking to get away from it all, this is it. The view of the trees and stream from the porch are stunning. The stream sounds will rock you to sleep. The cabin itself could not be nicer. The owners are most helpful with what to see and do in the area. This is remote and the gravel road was quite manageable in our Subaru outback.
