Ahhh, what a comfort to know there's such a retreat in this world as the Junction! Far from the maddening crowd is an understatement. Alice and Doug have created a haven where one can truly unwind, relax and get back to what life is really about. Thank you both for all you do in allowing us to experience Lumbard Junction in all its wild, natural glory. The beautiful woods, the rushing, sparkling creeks, the clean fresh air! The Junction is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the gifts of nature. Clean and comfortable, the Junction is stocked with all the comforts of home and more. The interior is lined with windows to let in the light and views, and the spacious deck is perfect for lounging, reading, grilling. Even when it rained, the covered deck was the place to be -- the combination of the sounds of the creek and the raindrops dancing on the metal roof were delightful! We're so grateful to have had this very special time. Everything about it positively fed our souls. Thanks again, Alice and Doug, so much.
Our stay was quiet, peaceful, secluded, and the Junction is wonderful! Clean , cozy, with a great porch for sitting and listening to the creek, this is one of our favorite vacation rentals!
