I'm from Salisbury, but my fiance and I like to travel just a little out of the way to get some alone time together. We were placed in room 118 and it is such a cozy atmosphere. I will definitely stay here again!
Perry at Scottish Inn is a beautiful soul. He found important items left in the motel room and called and is mailing the phone and purse to the person who left the items! Wouldn’t even let me reimburse him. If you stay at Scottish Inn, please give him a hug for me when Covid has passed.nHis honesty and thoughtfulness has made what could have been a disaster into a nice day. Instead of stressing we are giving thanks!!!
I stayed here for a couple months. The room is big but the roaches are terrible! The owner is rude but Perry was super nice. A church comes by to give out lunch, I believe they do it twice a week. They others that live there were nice and friendly. I think it's a little pricey for the condition. The owner would rather redo the parking lot than have bug exterminators come out and spray. I wouldn't recommend. I also don't recommend the motel behind Pizza Hut, the one with the pool, I believe he's owns that motel as well.
The rooms were visibly dirty and there were several activities that made me nervous late at night.
