We had our wedding here this weekend and it was seriously better than we could have imagined. Everyone who works there is wonderful! Kelsey, Ron, and of course our fantastic wedding planner/coordinator Leah, did such a great job keeping things running smoothly like behind the scenes ninjas. All of our wedding guests rented out the cabins and yurts for the weekend and said the same thing. No one was ready to leave and everyone wants to come back to rent soon!
My husband and I rented a yurt (through air bnb) @ BMBR. Amazing experience all around. Beautiful scenery with a river view. No cell service so we could disconnect from the outside world. Close to great hiking trails. Would definitely recommend staying here for a getaway in the foothills.
Stayed in the rocky comfort cabin for my sisters wedding weekend. It was a quaint and comfy cabin and was perfect for our needs. Property is gated which made us feel safe and secure in the woods. Great view of the water with fun water activities. Staff was very accommodating and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable!
We had the most wonderful vacation last week at Brown Mountain Beach Resort! My family of 5 (3 kids ages 8, 11 and 14) stayed in Rocky Comfort and it worked perfectly for us. The kids slept on couches and we made it work. This is traditionally the honeymoon cabin, but was the only one available for the dates we needed and we loved the rustic feel. It is beautiful and cozy and has the best view of Wilson’s creek! We loved how close it was to the beach area and we could keep an eye on the kids from the deck. It was clean and we did not experience any leaks and we had two very big down pours while we were there. We loved spending the day in the creek and coming back to enjoy some relaxing in the hot tub. From the moment we pulled in, we felt welcomed by Ron and we left feeling like part of the Brown Mountain Beach family. We have fallen in love with this beautiful place and can’t wait to come back!
This place is so gorgeous and tranquil! Facilities have a very cozy rustic style, great for the mountain environment! Great people too! We greatly enjoyed our weekend stay for a wedding!
