We had a very pleasant stay at the Bavarian Ritz on a busy weekend in October. Hotel prices throughout town were high as expected due to the tourist draw but the Bavarian Ritz was on the lower end at around $140/night. The building and cozy rooms fit well with the Bavarian theme and it is well located right on Front St downtown. They have their own parking lot just across the street and you are given a key to the building to come and go as you please. Overall I would say the Bavarian Ritz is a great value and I would stay here for any return trips to Leavenworth!

Good place in a great central location in the middle of downtown. The hotel and the rooms does show some age but in no way run down or dirty. The age that I mention actually works in its favor in my opinion. If you are looking for a good hotel close to all the shops and food this is a great spot

This hotel has so many problems I will not be able to address all of them.n-the service counter and employees are not available after 6pm. This means no amenities like ice after 6pm.n-the bed was ancient and uncomfortablen-the jacuzzi had a weird film we had to clean before we used it.n-the TV and cable did not workn-the wifi information was hidden behind a lamp in a far corner of the room (and without employees in the building and service number not working we had to call hotels.com who connected us to the owner).n-the key and lock system is ancient and doesn't auto lock the door.n-the fireplace was a fake setup that would illuminate but wouldn't provide any warmth.n-without staff in the hotel we couldn't address any of our issues.n-when we tried to check out the front desk employee sat across the street and wouldn't open the hotel service counter. We attempted to address our issues but he wouldn't speak to us.nDo not stay here. It is dirty, the service is awful, the amenities listed are lies, and you can't address issues that arise during your stay.

Avoid the Bavarian Ritz at all cost. Even if it's the last room in Leavenworth. It's a $59 motel and they charge $250 a night. The positive reviews I saw on this place can't be real. The walls and carpet are stained and absolutely filthy. Trust me, plan ahead and stay somewhere nice. I do say that the location great.
