Weirdest review I've given. The place is nice, staff is great. Very clean and modern for an overpriced budget hotel. No bedbugs were found, which is a huge plus.nHere's where it gets weird, only accept an odd number room. The even numbers are literally 30ft from Interstate 75. The builders opted out of even the slightest bit of noise cancelling materials. Every single semi on the expressway shakes your bed. It's like being under a train in Chicago. Literally got zero sleep.
The Days Inn by Wyndham Dalton has outdoor eating on the Plaza Patio for brunch on weekends. There are no crowds, the atmosphere is very peaceful and the service and food excellent. We've gone many times just for their Eggs Benedict which is perfect. A great place to take out of town visitors since it's just walking distance to the Disney Center.
Got the jacuzzi room for my birthday weekend. 3 stars for being the only hotel with a jacuzzi in the room. It does get very humid in the room because of it though. I only rated 3 stars because as I was stepping out of the shower I noticed a huge cockroach running across the top of the door in the bathroom. Most older hotels have these sort of issues so I investigated and shoved toilet tissue in the hole where it came from never to see it again. The other reason a car alarm was set off at 8am and continued on and off in it's entirety for about 20 minutes, like 4 times. Breakfast consisted of cold cereals and hot cereals, apple juice, orange juice, muffins and bagels. Teas and coffee are available 24hrs a day.
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! The room was very neat and clean. No smell of cigarettes, etc. Breakfast in the morning was typical for hotels, but very good! I also appreciated all of the covid safety measures.
This was by far the best experience I’ve had in a hotel in years!!.. from Lauren to Maryto the maintenance man to the housekeeping.. they all had superior customer service and cared.. I mean actually cared about your comfort! .. not to mention the breakfast was excellent. I will definitely be staying here again when I come through Georgia, which is about 4 times a year.. this is my new home away from home! Thank you so much!!
