Absolutely wonderfulnOne of my favorites
Stepping through the doors of this place, is like stepping through a portal and landing 100 years in the past. You are met with the grace and elegance of the late 1800's in both sight and smell. The aromas of home cooked food is met with the smells of antique wood and leather. An example of comfort In accommodations, staff, and food. We arrived late at night, but they were more than welcoming to help us get settled in. The staff has been nothing short of excellent. This historic building is as beautiful inside as it is welcoming. Built in 1861 as a residence, it was rebuilt out of brick after a fire in 1902. Staying here is like stepping into the past where the food tastes of grandma's home cooking. The home made pies are endless in both selection and availability. This place is more than a Hotel, its an experience that doesn't disappoint.
Beautiful place, was recommended by Amanda Roland. It's buffet style meal but the food was amazing and the staff was outstanding. It is located on the square in a pink building. I would definitely recommend this place to someone looking for a great meal at a great price.
The food was delicious and the people were fabulous. We had the buffet. Couldn't beat it.
Coming from out of town, I was a little thrown back that the hotel closed at 6 pm but the rooms were nice. The food was absolutely wonderful and the staff was more than accommodating. Definitely a gem in Colquitt
