Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cartersville

Front desk was not only rude but we stayed in a room for a week housekeeping barely came by. I rebooked our room to be told we had to check out until 3. Ill never stay there again very disappointed

Just checked into the queen bed suite that would accommodate our family for the one night tonight. The young man at the front desk mumbled through his mask the whole time, making it difficult to hear him ask questions as he tried to find our reservation. Luckily the manager had not left yet so she assisted in finding it for us. We got to our rooms and found that we were in need of 2 blankets and one pillow. I went back to the front desk, with my mask on, and spoke with the same employee who had just checked me in. I gave him my request and he said he would go to check the housekeeping room that was 10 feet or so away from the front desk. Our room was right around the corner. I went to follow him so I could get the items and then go back to my room. He turned and told me to return to the front desk. I did just that but watched him walk in the housekeeping room and walk right back out. He then informed me that I would have to wait until morning for housekeeping assistance. I reminded him we would be leaving in the morning and some of us would not be having covers or a pillow. He showed no care whatsoever and began to mouth off as I walked back to our room. The ONLY reason I am still staying here for the night and trying to make the best of it is because it is 1am and I am too tired to try and find another room for myself, my wife and four young children. I’m not sure why the young man was unhelpful and I surely hope he wasn’t discriminating against us because of the color of our skin. I do know he never checked to see if there was any blankets or pillows and treated me as if he was disgusted with me for even asking. Tonight we are making do with a sheet and the vinyl pillow from the window bed. I will never stay here again and I advise everyone else to beware of staying here as well. I’m not sure there is any resolve with this issue as the damage and offense has already been done.

Friendly people. Nice lobby. The rooms a little hard to control the air. But would stay there again. Attended our every need. Thanks Mirotel!

My wife and I stayed in a room at Microtel Inn & Suites in the Cartersville, GA location on 04SEP-06SEP2020. It was one of the worst hotels I have had to stay at in my life. First of all my wife had to look at 3 rooms before we could at least pick out a decent room. Second of all the room we were in smelled like someone had been smoking cigarettes in the room. For 2 of the days we were there I had to go down to the front desk and ask for clean towels. Our room was not cleaned at all during the time we were staying in the room and this was after we were told our room would get cleaned. I didn't mention that we were in room 402. I also wanted to mention that throughout our time there we could smell heavy fumes of marijuana and also trash outside of the hotel especially around the main entrance. I will never stay at this place again.

The customer service that was the 1/10/2021 / 1/11/2021 evening shift was great! However, they put us in room 118. We didn't arrive in Cartersville until 1am. We get in the room and lay down only to be waken up at 5 am due to loud squeaky door that kept slamming. Then once I get up, look out door and ask if it can be any quieter. I slammed the door out of frustration. So I paid for a room that I literally got no sleep! Then when I say something to a supervisor (there Monday 1/11/2021) she literally rolls her eyes and offers nothing. She really didn't care! There is mold above bathroom showers which I also tried to inform her about but nothing! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
