Desert Wind Gardens

Beauty. Respect. Professionalism. Expertise. This is what we experienced over the 6 years that my mom resided at Desert Wind Gardens. Nataliya and her staff care for residents as if they were their own family. They understand dementia and respectfully work with residents. The character and wisdom of the owner is beyond reproach. Throughout hundreds of visits, the house was always sparkling clean and tastefully appointed. Highly recommend.

Nataliya and her staff at Desert Wind Gardens are incredible―both hardworking and deeply caring. They took such good care of my grandma for her last few years up until to her passing. The staff were always gracious and accommodating with family members visiting and providing us with anything we needed. The house itself is beautiful and incredibly well kept and tidy. Even the gorgeous backyard garden area, which is immaculate and colorful, provided a peaceful, private space for our family to sit and grieve together in her last days. I am exceedingly grateful that my grandmother was able to live out her last days with dignity in a place where she was cared for so attentively.

My father went through several programs and places but finally found a home here at Desert Wind Gardens.nThey are by far the most caring, supportive, understanding and informed Adult Family Care facility a family could ask for.nThey clearly understand elder care that is complicated by dementia or Alzheimer's.nYou will not find a better home for your loved one.

If I could rate lower I would.nInOne person taking care of 5 ppl with varying issues and my mom was the only one not stuck in a wheelchair or off in lala land slobbering in the same chair day after day or bed ridden and they still couldn't u ake care of her.nWould yell at her for walking around and wanting to help sweep the kitchen or trying to visit with anyone. She had to have a tooth removed because they never brushed her teeth nor watched to make sure she was doing a good job due to her dementia.nThey put her in a room, charge astronomical prices, with walls that didn't even reach the ceiling then kept the visiting room TV up so loud and attendant talking louder to other patients it kept mom agitated and scared then they got upset at her for not being in bed when it was so crazy noisey.nI never got an answer to any question nor was I allowed to help my mom to the bathroom but they didn't have the time to help her .nMy sibling was the poa so they only spoke to her.nDon't take ur family member there unless they only sit and say nothing.nMy mom's hair wud be so stiff from not being washed it was disgusting.nIf owner was there she was more involved with her kids and husband in tow than any patient.nThere are so many more things I could say but not enough room.nI saw the washing machine they use there and the gasket was covered in black mold , numerous times I had to tell them to wash her bedding and I cleaned her room because they apparently didn't have the time.
