My husband signed a contract with Mr. Chonko last July to replace our roof. He told us he would have work completed by three different months - August, October and December. He will not return our phone calls. I am really disappointed in Mr. Chonko because he came highly recommended. I tried to rate him with no stars but I had to choose one. I wish Mr. Chonko would do the right thing and fulfill our signed contract.
Working with Jim is an excellent experience, he as the owner will be on site and helpful throughout the job. He is upfront and honest and has just about the best prices in town. The difference between those other guys and chonko roofing is that he runs a small family owned quality centric operation. If you want the job done fast go somewhere else because Jim's a busy guy in high demand! However if you want the job done right call Jim and get yourself a great roof! We are thrilled with our 40 year warranty efficient metal roof and it even qualified for energy rebates.
Had to replace my roof, went with metal. Jim Chonko did the work, and he did a fantastic job, even stopped leak on enclosed patio. I would recommend Chonko without reservation. He takes his time and does the job right.
