If you’re going to VIR this is where you want to stay. Fantastic breakfast, clean and well kept rooms, only 10 minutes away from the track.
We stayed at the Merrybrook cottage when spending a weekend down in the area for a track day at VIR. It's about 1000ft from the actual BnB, private, on a small lake. The driveway and round about made it easy for us to get the truck & trailer in and out. The owners were wonderful they met us there to greet us, show us around and explain the details of the property.nnWhen we forgot to bring our track waivers Mr. Bill had some ready and dropped them off for us. I look forward to returning as they explained they had some nice things planned for the house and lakeside. Great place to get away or spend a weekend on some nice backroads if you're a motorcycle/car enthusiast. VIR is 5 mins away.
I stayed at the Villa for work, I'm not normally a B&B traveler, but the Villa has changed my opinion of this! Everything about the stay was comfortable and easy, and the breakfast is simply fantastic. Rooms are big and have private baths, there's plenty of places outside to sit on a porch or lawn chair and just relax at the end of the day. I will definitely be back!
Really nice B&B. Super friendly and hospitable hosts, Lucy and Bill. So convenient to VIR.
Loved my getaway to Merrybrook cottage! The comfortable cottage is charming. With terrific views of the lake, the wrap-around porch was the perfect peaceful spot to sip coffee and practice yoga. Even spotted hawks and great blue heron!
