First time at this hotel. We were planning a birthday celebration and I had guest coming in from out of town. I booked 2 rooms with a suite upgrade for one and late checkout on both. All requests were graciously accommodated. We had dinner reservations at Saltine and everything was delicious. So good in fact we went back for brunch the following day. The location, the hospitality, the convenience and the atmosphere made for a wonderful birthday event.
Customer Service training needed for front desk staff
Wonderful stay in a fabulous part of Norfolk. Clean comfortable room and VERY pleased with the sanitation and COVID protocols. Two wonderful restaurants both with indoor and outdoor dining options. Very happy with this Hilton!

I won’t be staying here again. We were confronted non-stop by hostile staff about wearing a mask, even if we were standing alone. If you are from a place in the majority of the country where people have some perspective, this hotel is not the place for you.nnI addition, the bathroom doors in each room are sliding opaque doors that don’t close all the way. So you can be seen from in the room while using the bathroom. Plus there is no fan in the bathroom so odors enter the room.nnGood location and nice views of the water, but not worth the hassle of having to try to avoid hostile hotel staff.
