The room was huge, larger than expected. The location is perfect, you can basically look on the Yellowstone entrance. There are awesome places around (try Slippery Otter & Running Bear Pancake House). And the owner helped us to remove the snow from our car. Very nice!

Al’s was the cheapest place in town, and while they weren’t *inexpensive*, their rates were still fairly affordable. In all honesty, I’d say about 30% of what you were paying for was just location alone — you’re within walking distance of the western entrance to Yellowstone NP. Still, the price didn’t detract from our stay here. The staff at the front desk were engaging and kind, and the rooms were clean and fun. Honestly disappointed that I only booked one night here, but we were eastbound and down so we didn’t have time to extend our stay in the area.nnHopefully I’ll be back again someday, because I definitely enjoyed my stay here!

Decent motel, clean and has all the essentials for a good night sleep. A big screen TV with low resolution. Super close to the west entrance to Yellowstone. The wifi, however, is not password protected so I'd suggest not to use your personal device with the connection. There's only one staff member, which may explain the early check out (10 am) and late check-in (4 pm).

Great place to stay if your looking to visit Yellowstone. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and you have some great food around the motel also.

Rooms are overpriced. But so are all the other rooms in this tourist town. Such a shame to rip people off like that. As soon as we arrived and got our key, we practically ran to the bathrooms to pee. We had been on the road for way to long. Went to wash my hands and not one bar of soap in the place. The rooms were cleaned up, but one of the rooms still had full trash cans. The beds were comfy. But the ceilings were kinda thin. People above were too loud. Next morning woke up and we all began showering, etc. Mid-morning dump we realized there was not one square of toilet paper in either room. That was fun! Running across the parking lot, barefooted at 6 something A.M. Only to find out the office wasn’t open, but you can call a number. Except I hadn’t carried my phone with me to the office. Meanwhile person on the pot had legs going numb from sitting so long waiting to wipe their butt.... Fun times....not.
