Just stayed at Tamarack Lodge for a long ski weekend and it was really lovely. Great care went into updating the room, which was large and featured a wood burning fireplace. The location really can’t be beat! So close to restaurants and shops and the bus stop to the ski resort, we kept our car parked for our entire stay. After a full day of skiing, it was so nice to relax in the hot tub and meet other friendly guests. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.nMy rating really should be 5 stars, if not for the business practice of spamming customer’s emails with advertising. I just got back home, and already I’m receiving multiple emails about booking my next stay. I obviously did not sign up for spam and went through the trouble of “requesting” to be removed from the mailing list. I know that this is the new norm for most businesses, as evident by the large quantities of mail in my junk folder, but I don’t have to like it.

Not a great experience. I reserved a suite for my family to stay over Valentine's Day weekend. Unfortunately we were unable to get to Sun Valley due to road closures and had to cancel our reservation. The hotel was unwilling to offer a refund. I asked if they would offer a credit towards a future stay and they declined that option as well.

Absolutely loved our experience at this lodge!!!! The lady at the front desk was so nice and inviting. Our room had a fire place and a sliding glass door to an outdoor area. I loved that it was pet friendly. They brought us a dog bowl for our pup, robes and an easy start log for the fireplace. It felt like we were at a little modern cabin or an air bnb. It felt very private and cozy. It was walking distance from where we ate dinner and breakfast. I also called after we left wanting a sticker and the lady at the front said she could mail us one. I really appreciated that! We will definitely be back soon!

My parents needed a last minute room for one night of their visit so we booked tamarack and were pleasantly surprised! The rooms are so spacious and comfortable. The upper deck views were great. If we could have got a refund on the other place we had booked for their stay we would have canceled and had them stay at tamarack the whole trip! Great communication, easy check in and out, Comfortable and clean and in a perfect location!

Our weekend stay was great!! Todd the manager and the cleaning staff were very nice and helpful. When we needed anything the service was very prompt. Shops and restaurants were walking distance which was great. This was our first stay in ketchum and definitely stay again. The lodge is also pet friendly and there is a cleanup station which was convenient.
