Days Inn by Wyndham Manitou Springs

I gave 2 stars instead of one because the woman at the front desk was so polite and had GREAT customer service.nnWalking into the motel it looked old but clean. My daughters and I checked in and was assigned room 201. We walk upstairs and it started to give a creepy vibe when we got up there. When we entered our room, the weird smell jut hit you in the face! Then we look at the beds and the bed closet to door had a mattress so old it had indentations of the people who slept there before. The feeling was like a scene from AHS hotel or Bates motel. That’s the best way to describe this room and the upstairs.nTrying to make the best of it we open the window to air out the room and got ready to go to dinner. During that time my daughters and I decided that this place was not the place for us and we felt too uncomfortable staying there. We checked out after dinner and got a room at another motel. After explaining what happened to hotels.com I was refunded the money I paid for this place.nI hope that the company replaces the beds and does some upgrades so it’s not so creepy and smelly.

I am a local and my pipes are frozen due to the extremely cold temps recently. My family and I tried to stick it out as long as we could but we all needed to shower and the laundry was getting outta control. I called one another place here in Manitou Springs called America's Best Value Inn Villa Motel and I explained I live in town and that it had been a rough couple of days on us without water! I asked if we could check in early and that I would even be willing to pay a fee if needed. The woman was very rude and uncompassionate, basically telling me it was not her issue. When I called Days Inn the front desk worker was so kind and told us come on down!! She said that we were not the only locals staying here for the same reason as us. We checked in early enough that she asked if we wanted breakfast. Everything is clean, everyone is friendly, and I will be bringing my family here when they come to visit in March! 10/10: will recommend to anyone staying in my area! Oh, and very comfortable bed. :)

Place is run down!! Parking lot, pool, and room were all dirty. Found stained sheets and holes in blanket. Long hair strands in the tub, bathroom, and bed. Fridge didn’t work. TV is like a 30 inches big! Pool water is gross, and the hot tub doesn’t even work. Don’t even get me started on the breakfast... nasty cheap yogurt and dry bagels with plain cream cheese. No fruit. No juice. No milk. No jelly. What a joke. This place is priced more than its competitors and I only have to wonder why? I’ll never be back.

Awesome place for the price. Clean, indoor pool, friendly service, easily accessible with lots of parking. The continental breakfast left something to be desired, but they said it was because Covid wouldn't let them serve the waffles and sit-down food. Still, for the price and location, we were pleased. Very family friendly. We'll likely be back!

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!nTHERE ARE WAY TO MANY AWESOME AND FRIENDLY HOTELS IN THE AREA!nnAbsolutely horrendous customer service and a supervisor with a huge ego! Was planning a stay and when I attempted to cancel my stay the supervisor “Michael” was acting like a mad man and was absolutely livid from the start of our short conversation, I could not get a word in! He then offered me a coupon that was not sufficient and then the “supervisor” proceeded to take the offer off the table. He did this multiple times with many different offers, as if he was trying to hold it over my head. He was much to invested in this personally, instead of attempting to deescalate the situation and help the customer (me) he threatened to take away this pitiful discount that did not satisfy me as a paying customer . At the end of our conversation he claimed the only way I would get a partial refund was if I didn’t not write a bad review or report him. Essentially a bribe to cover his terrible performance. Well I’m happy to say, I got my partial refund AND you will be getting my bad review and a report to the BBB! The supervisor Michael was horrendous, he was outlandish, threatening and should not have a job as a front desk hotel supervisor if he treats his guests like this! It’s sad that just one employee can ruin a great hotels reputation. He needs to be replaced or retrained ASAP. Also I have transcripts of all the calls if need be (which will be attached to my BBB complaint).nDO NOT GO HERE! EVER!
