This place was amazing and definitely didn't hold out on spooky vibes. We booked the H.H Holmes room for the weekend of my birthday this place gives off the higher class fancy hostel vibe but I didn't mind the shared bathroom and kitchen. The town is a little weird but nothing I didn't expect being a native to Colorado and have seen other small towns. My only recommendation is while you stay at this beautiful hotel also support the local businesses around it as well we had some yummy simple food and great hospitality. The hotel host was very friendly and welcoming and luckily we got to see other rooms besides ours. I can't wait for the other section of the hotel to be finished and open we will be back for sure!
10/10 recommend for anyone looking for something more exciting and creative then your regular old B&B. This place is AMAZING! So beautiful, historical, and just spooky enough! The remodel was done on one side when we went and I got to see all of the beautifully decorated rooms. I stayed in the one with a swinging bed. It was so fun. We heard footsteps one night when we were the only guests, so I’m convinced it is haunted! There are more rooms finished now and I can’t wait to go back and check them all out.nMy reservation, booking, and stay went off without a hitch. The owner was very hospitable and gave us great suggestions for fun activities in the area. Loved everything about our time there.
This was probably the best hotel. If you like driving in the mountains and the rich history of gold mining! The town was very interesting. The hotel room was amazing!! The H.H. Holmes room was so cool!
Really cool and unique place to stay. Gothic/haunted themed decor. Awesome, super friendly staff that makes you feel welcome. Perfect for a memorable getaway. 100% would stay again!
Great decor service and prices. The kitchen is really helpful and well stocked and the bedding is really luxurious. Make sure you follow the check in instructions on the email they give you or stuff will get confusing lol. Also of you're a light sleeper I highly recommend eye masks and earplugs because it is an old building and the windows are tall enough to let light in. Not an issue just advice
