I am a fan of Victor. I drop by when I visit Colorado springs. Step by step the town is recovering. It's a unique old gold field town. I like the feel of the place.
We needed a couples weekend away to unplug and unwind. Being Colorado natives, we both realized we'd never been in this area of our state. It was wonderful. A place where time almost stood still. What might have been a ghost town quietly carries on. The Hotel Victor remains authentic and premier accommodations for the time and place.. Patrick, in the hotel and Cindy, in the restaurant make you very welcome, like you belong.. We had a lovely time.
Staff were both friendly and accommodating. LOVED the history and would not stay anywhere else in the area in the future.nThe owner was very kind and helpful throughout our stay!
Aside from the Stanley, the Victor is my favorite hotel in Colorado. Super cool place with a rustic feel and old, creaky staircases. The town of Victor as a whole is quite the hidden gem. The ultimate retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
We haven't stayed there yet. But we were in town filming and was cold, they were all booked up and aloud us to stay in the lobby to warm up after hours! We will definitely stay there when we get a chance!
