My wife and I camped here with our two dogs for a quick weekend getaway and we had a great time! The lodge has that authentic historical feel, and the campsites are well distributed, with fire pits and picnic tables at each site, and a shared portable toilet in a common area. And don't miss the sunset at the lookout point! Greg and Mary Ruth were very hospitable and are really making this place shine. We will definitely come back. Maybe next time we'll stay in one of the cabins!

Incredible place to take your family. There are many different cabins in different sizes to rent, and the property is very kid and dog friendly. The owners are on the property most of the time and very responsive to questions and needs. Many of the cabins have their own outdoor grills and fire pits, and the property is along a beautiful creek/river. There are horses and goats you can pet and feed. This was my second time there - my kids love it and I hope to return at least once a year every year. Easy 45-minute drive from Denver.

The care and commitment that the owners have for this historical property makes it contagious ud83dude00.nnWe spent the Christmas holidays in a cozy cabin , ‘the Isle of View’,nnThey even added a homey touch with a Christmas tree that was all light up upon our arrival.nThis along with the fireplace was a perfect setting for our celebration.nThe bedding is wonderful & inviting.nnEverything was super clean and well organized, felt right at home .nnWe took a nice stroll around the grounds , you can envision the history made here. Being a Colorado fourth generation this is dear to me.nnI think you could say we 100% recommended a stay , we are looking forward to a summer stay as well!nnThank you?

My wife and I took at short vacation to Glen Isle Resort last weekend. I must say that it was a great trip. If you want a great long weekend or extended you need to visit. The views are amazing and the history goes back into the late 1800's. Greg and Mary Ruth have done and excellent job renovating and restoring this resort and keeping the history alive. We stayed in Evergreen and it was great. It is a 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin with very comfortable beds. It has a full kitchen and a great back patio even with a Hot Tub!! We loved getting to visit and feed the horses next door to us! This cabin even had a dog run so if you travel with your furry friend it would be great. We can't wait to visit again it is such a beautiful place!

My girlfriend and I had a lovely stay at glen isle resort. The staff is incredibly friendly and interesting. We had great conversations with them. The terrain is bountiful and prime for exploration. The history of the place is rich and interesting. The lodges are renovated with expert craftsmanship and quality amenities. Highly recommend!
