Fairplay Valiton Hotel

My name is Johnathan Little, I stayed here in 2017 in August I think. I was walking cross country, and I needed to take a bus to Oklahoma for Divorce court. I used my debit card and checked in at around 4pm I think. I was dirty from hiking for several weeks. So I took like 4 hot showers. Great water pressure and temp on each 45-60 minute shower. My room was small and clean. I watched TV and I believe it was a new TV. I used the wifi briefly to upload videos from my hiking and camping. The staff was a Mongolian man and he was friendly and helpful. I met other guests in the dining room, there was a laid back group of people downstairs having beers. In the morning we had a light breakfast, and I did part of my standup routine...dirty jokes at 7 am, and pretty good coffee and doughnuts made a great start to the day. I'd love to stay here again when I come back through. The bed was too soft for me, but I am a floor sleeper. The room is decorated in a Feminine way, I suppose victorian inspired. I was on the second floor. I closed my door, they still use manual keys. There is no elevator as I remember. The breakfast was pastry, fruit, I think eggs, and pancakes, I remember eating my fill, and taking some snacks for my bus ride, I think apples and yogurt. I generally choose the cheapest lodging in town, this, was a little more, but considering how nice my stay was, it was worth it.
