I didn't stay here but I talked with one of the owners who was a great conversationalist and overall a nice guy. They have a well stocked fishing pond where you pay for what you catch by the inch. I will be staying here in the near future.
I didn't stay here, but encountered the owner at a CT trailhead stop when our team of people and dogs were in rough shape. He was so kind and wonderful, offered us some free refreshments and was genuinely concerned and helpful. I would stay at Lynwood in a heartbeat based on that few minutes of interaction alone. Good people.
Wonderful people, Lynn and Bill are very hospitable. I had a camp spot right by the river. It was so nice I stayed and extra day. Within walking distance of a few restaurants, and outfitter and laundry mat.
Mom & Pop hostel and cabin on the river with a trout pond you can fish. Wash clothes, shower, limited resupply, excellent rates.
Was blessed that Lynn drove up on her van just as I came into the trailhead parking lot. So grateful for Lynn and Bill’s hospitality. Wonderful stay and highly recommended Lynwood Park to any Colorado Trail hiker down the way. Thanks!
