Alphabent Recumbent Cycles (PBW)

Today, Friday, February 19, 2021, I brought an off brand Recumbent Bike/Trike in to the shop. While building the Performer JC26X, I was running into some issues with the Back Derailleur which is a Shimano Brand that I had worked with before on road bikes. It had been awhile so I thought I was doing something wrong when i couldn't get through the basics without running risk of damaging something. Being a guy that knows when to throw in the towel, I sought out to find a Pro.nnAt approximately 1100 Hours I drove in with the trike in the back of my truck. Hugh came out and greeted me. I told him my issue. He didn't appear happy that I brought the off brand to the shop. Hugh, as a professional, he agreed to work on my trike. About 40 minutes later he came out with a short list of issues and asked me if I wanted him to perform the services. I did and Boom...! about a total of one (1) hour he had fixed everything that was giving me issues while being a DYI Guy.nnIn the end, Hugh earned a long-term customer as this is my 1st recumbent bike/trike. I bought the off brand to see if I would liked riding this style, build one, and learn about these phenomenal bikes.nnNow, if I had done a little more homework, I most likely would had found Hugh. Time will tell how long I keep the current trike and make a different purchase with Hugh.nnFor You, the reader of this review. If you're in town or just near, stop by and see Hugh. Great shop. Spent an entire Saturday morning helping me tweak little things to make cycling easier for my old lady body.

Its a great shop. The owner is really helping me out fixing my bike. Thats the only exercise I can get due to my hip and neck. If it wasn't for him I would have to by a new one.

I’m glad we finally found this bike shop for trikes. Hugh has a breadth of knowledge that is most appreciated. He made some suggestions and then adjustments to my Terra Trike that gave me more gear/speed. I highly recommend this shop for selection and expertise.
