Had a beautiful stay at the Chart House Inn - Margaret was such a wonderful host. My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our anniversary so we came up on Memorial Day Weekend. We were lucky to get her last queen room. She so sweetly made us chocolate covered strawberries and got us a little bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our special occasion which was such a pleasant surprise and great start to the trip! The room has private parking for a guests, air conditioning and heat. The bathroom and bathroom is spacious and quaint which really gave a nice bed and breakfast feel. Margaret also provides her guests with a nice breakfast layouts with fruit bowls, coffee, an array of breads and her delicious homemade muffins! We will definitely be staying here again once we're back in Newport.

My husband and I stayed here on a cancellation with our 55 lb. shepard/lab mix over the 4th of July weekend and it could not have been more PERFECT! We stayed in Room 1 and the bay window was a beautiful way to wake up in the morning. The location is ideal given that it was a 10 minute walk to everywhere we wanted to go, but the inn itself is on a quaint little street AND has parking! The bathroom was detached from the room, but just down the hall and we were able to lock it, as it's private to our room's use only. We highly recommend staying here, especially because finding a reasonably priced dog-friendly accommodation in Newport is rare!

My wife and I stayed last weekend and really loved it. Check in was a breeze, the inn is well-appointed. A beautiful historic home in a perfect location. Very short walk to downtown Newport as well as the popular Broadway neighborhood. Our room was massive and clean and with beautiful views. The innkeeper Margaret was so welcoming and kind. She made us delicious eggs benedict and had a variety of juices, breakfast items and hot coffee ready for us in the morning. I couldn't recommend the Chart House Inn more highly!

Absolutely Love It. Gorgeous 1800 house well maintained with Margaret as the Inn Keeper. She makes a great continental breakfast, extremely accommodating. Beautiful location right in the heart of adventure. My dogs Hanz & Kepler had a blast. They loved her and the area very much. Thank you so much Margaret. Will definitely stop by again.

fantastic stay experienced at the Chart House Inn. Margaret is a delightful host, its pet friendly and extremely comfortable. Right in the center of town but off the main streets so peaceful at night
