The food and service for dinner was a pleasant surprise. Everything ordered was delicious. That seating was very comfortable and the service is top notch

The Living Room Lounge- Cool vibe. Lots of couches and chairs arranged in different seatings. Great place to meet other couples for a drink before dinner.

After a day experiencing Newport, the rooftop at the Brenton Hotel was a beautiful place for us to unwind. We arrived around 4:30, when the sun was still strong and warm, and sat on stools overlooking the port and the town. What an incredible view! It was amazing to see all the boats coming in, the activity on the wharf, the expanse of Newport’s historic architecture. It really is a special view of the city.nnWe loved the drinks, they were just delicious and the food was perfect. All that walking on the Cliff Walk made us quite hungry so we tried most of the dishes. The grilled peaches and lobster rolls were real standouts, as well as the tuna ceviche. Everything came quickly, which we really appreciated.nnThe hotel itself is really quite elegant, with large windows looking out on town. The second-floor lounge/bar looks like the nice spot to relax. The whole place is handsome and if I didn’t live in the area, I might book a room here one day.nnThe hotel is a stylish addition to Newport and I’m happy to have a sophisticated stop with a great view when showing friends around the city. It’s especially in this difficult time when dining/drinking options are becoming so much more complicated.nnAlso, I just want to say I appreciated how the staff was all masked and remained socially distant when dealing with us. I wish there were more safe open air roof decks like this in Newport!

This hotel was a dream! My fiance and I just stayed at this hotel and it worth every penny! We stayed in the penthouse King suite, city view and it was gorgeous. Everyone that worked that was extremely friendly and helpful. Our first night we did not have dinner reservations and the coworker picked our brain and booked a delicious italian dinner for us! The hotel offers a shuttle service but not your typical bus - it was a 2020 Mercedes SUV! They had no problem taking us to Castle Hill Inn and the Cliff Walk. This hotel is in a prime spot and walking distance to everything Newport has to offer! The dining/bar area has a cozy feel with all the couches and pretty views. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back next Summer!

Wish we had stayed here instead of hotel next door, but glad we tried the lounge/restaurant. Great welcome when we stopped in for a light dinner. Lovely open lounge area with comfortable seating with harbor views. Friendly efficient staff. Nice menu of smaller plates great for tasting/sharing.nFriends did move here from Marriott after finding similar issues we did. They loved their room & fun modern atmosphere here.
