This is such a cute place! Warm welcome when we arrived, parking spot reserved just for us, hot tub, stocked kitchen, comfy bed, cool old building, wine shop. Glad a google search brought us here for a last minute weekend away.
Leslie is the best hostess ever. I have stayed at Inn Port on 3 separate visits to Dayton; the property is very unique and charming and I will definitely stay there again.
Absolutely delightful place to stay. We rode our bikes up to Dayton from Xenia and decided to spend the night. I wasn’t hopeful since we were calling around at the last minute, but alas! A room with a beautiful king sized bed and jacuzzi tub was available and the owners were extremely sweet and accommodating. I would love to stay here again next time I’m in Dayton. Lots of breakfast options, a nice comfy common area, the rooms are very spacious with lots of cute antique furniture throughout, and the jacuzzi in our room was exactly what we needed after a long day of bike riding!
This is a real cool place located in a historic part of town. The hostess/owner is accomodating and welcoming. The wine bar is a unique touch.
I don't know if I'd say it's a true bed and breakfast. In my opinion or my idea of a bed and breakfast is when you are cooked a breakfast in the morning. This place only offered cereal or a muffin you could heat up yourself as breakfast. It was a nice old home but needed a little more help with the remodeling. It was a nice clean place to stay, the staff was friendly and helpful and the nightly rate was reasonable for its location.
