Booked this Red Roof through Expedia and got rooms for my husband and myself and separate rooms for my adult daughters. The young lady at the front desk was a joy to work with! Without asking her to do do, she made sure that we had our rooms next to each other. The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. I actually got the best night's sleep than I have had in a long time. Loved this place!
The bedding was very comfortable and bringing my small dog for the night with no extra fees is why I chose this place. However, the room is advertised as non-smoking and was clearly smoked in. And the next day my hair, clothing, luggage, EVERYTHING smelled like cigarettes. So gross.

I had a decent stay here and was left alone but there is nothing exceptional about this place. The laundry detergent dispenser is a joke. The television in my room was very small and displaying the demo mode features my entire stay. None of the clerk's could really help with anything to no fault of their own. Honestly, I hold nothing against the staff. I chalk this up to terrible ownership which I believe was the man literally standing outside my room with cleaning lady on the day of my checkout which was ON TIME.
For the last couple of years, I have frequently stayed at this hotel. The owners have invested in improvements to the property. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They go out of their way to accommodate you and make you happy. The property is close to many of the places that you might want to visit in Columbus.
