This is a great campground. Very clean and well managed. You will love the atmosphere and feel like family in no time at all. The staff work endlessly to accommodate our needs. Safe, quiet, and yet close enough to town to shop and dine. The lake activities are an added bonus the whole family can enjoy. Such a beautiful view all around. Pricing is affordable.
What a great place to stay!! Its quiet and beautiful!! Even in the dead of winter its awesome! Although they do need a bigger laundry facility. Other than that this place has it all!
The park is nice and clean with large enough sites to accommodate our 42 ft 5th wheel. Getting in and out was easy.nnI can’t say enough about the manager, Rick. He was terrific! Super friendly and professional. We had a horrible storm pass through on our stay. The storm took out power in a small portion of the campground. It so happen to be the section we were staying in. Of course, we don’t have a generator on our rig. What does Rick do? He lends us one until the power is restored. Which by the way was within 24 hrs. What a great guy!nnWe would definitely stay here again! And highly recommend, Lakeview RV Park.
Love this place! Quiet but kid friendly, pet friendly... Very clean and neat... Close to many attractions ,Old Man's Cave, Athens we will definitely be back! ud83dude01
We were traveling from NC to MI and booked in January to stay here for an overnight stay as well as our stay on our return trip with an extra night. Here's where it gets shady, we arrive on Friday and when we went to check in we were told he didn't have our reservations, but just happened to have 2 sites we could stay in, traveling with another couple. At that time we confirmed with the person who checked us in that he had us down for the following Friday and Saturday, which he did and he even gave us our site numbers. We show up on our return trip to be told he doesn't have our reservations and only has a site for 1 night and put us in the same sites he previously told us we had. We actually showed up early on Friday, I feel if we didn't show up until later in the day on both trips he would have given those sites to a regular, who would stay the weekend, if not longer. No confirmation given or deposit taken, that should have been 1st sign. Campground is more for permanents and not overnight guests. If you decide to book here for an overnight stay just BEWARE you might not have a site!
