Hermitage Amagansett

We are still here and been here for 3 nights and everything is great, EXCEPT that the second level floors must be made of thin material or not carpeted. We can hear every footfall, every scrape ofnfurniture, every sliding of closet door. We know when the upstairs wakes up and gets out of bed. We can hear when they walk to the kitchen or to the bathroom. We are trying to relax after a long day out but we keep hearing thud, thud, thud, and scraaape, draaaag, draaag. I know the upstairs should be mindful too but it really isn't their fault; it's the thin flooring or no carpetting. But our first level unit is carpetted so I don't know why the I upstairs wouldn't be. It is April and not yet peak season-- we can only imagine the noise in the summer when all the units are occupied. It is unfortunate really because it is a beautiful property, close to the beach, and very clean.

Omg from the time we got to this place I felt peace, then when we entered the apartment the warm fresh scent made me feel so much at home even during covid. I will definitely be going back again. A must visit please

It was amazing!! Beautiful beach, the views from the balcony were awesome!! We even saw a bunch of whales jumping in the morning!! Great place! Great time!!

Enjoyable, even in December. There's no greater place than Long Island's East End.

On the beach, no services, get an upstairs room so you don't hear anyone above you, have been before, will go back
