Holcomb's Bed and Breakfast

Wonderful experience at Holcombs last week! We rented the whole B&B for a wedding group, and everyone was very pleased with the accommodations and the food. Karen went above and beyond to make sure everything met and exceeded our expectations. The house and guest rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated. Dick keeps the yard in great shape. Everything was perfect and allowed us to focus our time on our event and catching up with family and friends.

I was in town to give a talk at Colgate, and was put up in a room here by the people at Colgate.nnI've not stayed in many B&B's before, but between this one and the last one I was at, I think I might have to change that. The room I had was nice (disregard the spinning ceiling fan in my panorama photo), the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was fantastic. I very much appreciated fresh fruit and healthy small snacks being available throughout the night since I was up late working and wanted something to munch on. I'm not sure if I'll ever be back in the area again, but if I am, I'll be sure to see if I can get a room here!

I had never been to a Bed n Breakfast, so honestly, I was not sure what to expect. Having stayed at Holcomb's, it was an experience that I hope to be able to experience again! What a treat! Karen is a GREAT host, who operates a beautiful home in Hamilton, very near Colgate University. Her home is cozy, the bedroom was clean, nicely decorated, and her hospitality was outstanding. Such a nice lady. 10 stars!

This is a beautiful, charming, immaculately clean and well-maintained place to stay. The owner, Karen, is a gracious host who provides a really delicious breakfast. The photos don't quite do this place justice!
