Bass' Golf Course Cabins

10/10!!! I highly recommend this place for the perfect glamping experience. The cabin is fully furnished. If you have a BIG family and plan to cook, you could bring a few extras with you (crock pot, big soup pot), otherwise it’s perfect for a family of 4. Plus there are so many places to order from with super reasonable prices. And in town there is a market (Tops) where you can get anything you’d need. Bring your own bags though or you can buy paper bags for $.05 a piece. TheY also sell beer at the market and there’s a liquor store across the street. The cabin has 2 queen sized bedrooms, a loft with 2 twin beds (and LOTS of extra space for air mattresses) and a pull out couch. Plus 1 and 1/2 baths. It was so super cozy and outside theres a charcoal grill and a smoker (i think?) we scoped out all 10 cabins. We stayed in cabin 1 and I feel like it was the best one. 1 and 2 are “on the golf course” but with a patch of woods separating the cabins from the course. A lot of the others were right on the course with no woods near by. They all have amazing views of a super beautiful dark sky at night full of bright stars. If you have a telescope, definitely bring it. We want to get one for the next time we go back. As far as things to do in the area, you cannot miss Bouchoux Trail. It’s a little over a mile hike one way but the views are incredible. We had a 3, 5 and 6 year old with us and with a little help they made it! There are places in the area to rent canoes and kayaks or take day trips with a guide. Lots to do if you love the outdoors! All in all, an excellent experience and we will DEFINITELY be back. I recommend checking for peak fall foliage times for the area because the beauty was enhanced even more with the turning of the leaves.
