Comfort Inn & Suites West - Medical Center

Overall it was a very nice and enjoyable stay. The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable bed and the temperature control was very responsive and easy to adjust. All employees encountered were wearing masks and there was hand sanitizer staged in multiple spots around the hotel. All interactions with members of the hotel staff were pleasant and I found them to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was nicely adapted to the pandemic with lots of prepackaged items with a lot of variety along with some warm breakfast sandwiches.nnA couple of minor things kept this from being a 5 star review. I stayed in Room 418 and I suspect other top level rooms have this issue. First, at night, there is a parking lot light that shines right in through the window; it is quite bright and is good for safety of the lot. However, the blackout shades for the room do not fully close so there is no way to block out the light. Second, the bathroom could really use a fan or some sort of ventilation. After taking a shower the room gets quite moist and the mirror stays fogged up. Also, the shower could use a pressure boost; temperature was great but pressure was severely lacking. Third would be to check the room TVs. When it was working it was great but the picture would get dark some of the time and difficult to see.nnOverall it was a great stay and I would not hesitate to stay again the next time my travels take me to Rochester.

The place was great! There was a really good breakfast and the pool and hot tub was perfect!

Nice hotel! Staff was friendly and even the workout room had decent equipment!

Rooms are always fresh and clean! Location is convenient to shopping and places to eat.
