This is by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had by a country mile.nnPros:nHotel and rooms look nice.nBed was comfy.nnCons:nHad to wait 10 minutes at the front door to get buzzed in so we could check in.nn$35/Day Overnight Parking for hotel guests. (Parking garage system was down when we stayed too.)nnNo ice machines on ANY of the floors. Have to go to the lobby and ask the front desk clerk to get you a bucket of ice.nnNo vending machines.nnThe insulation in the hotel rooms are EXTREMELY POOR. This wouldn’t have been a problem if the blankets were heavy, but the blankets provided are paper thin. The only way to stay warm in my room was to max out the heating system to 80F to get my room to stay at a consistent 70F.nnStaff was rude and acted inconvenienced by normal questions.nnBottom Line:nIf all you plan on doing is getting hammered drunk in downtown Minneapolis and all you need is a comfy bed to pass out in, this is the place for you.nOtherwise, avoid the Moxy Downtown like the plague.

Called and asked to book a room with a soaking tub, jacuzzi, or whirlpool...arrived at 2 am and got a regular bathtub in a accessible room! Tried to take a bath but...when filling it up with water a whole punch of hair was floating in it!!

The Moxy is INCREDIBLE! We stayed here for a long weekend and had a fantastic experience. The rooms are minimalist but brilliantly designed. We kept wondering who designed them- they make so much sense! No space is wasted. The bar was great, drinks tasty and strong, and bartenders/hotel staff kind and attentive. Very dog friendly - they brought us a dog bowl for our little pooch whenever we were at the bar. Also it’s in a great location, super close to the Stone Arch Bridge. I don’t understand why this place doesn’t have a full 5 stars. We will absolutely be back.

Was charged $200 and a list of stealing things that weren't even in the room when I checked in. When calling to find out about it I was told oh I don't know what items are missing and was told that they had evidence. There was no evidence the room was tiny the customer service was absolutely horrible I will never stay at one of these places again and I will be finally complaint with Marriott directly as well.

Love this place. Very well decorated. The security is great. Beds are very comfortable. The rooms are very minimalistic. Definitely will stay here again!
