Hyatt Centric Downtown Minneapolis

Found this hotel after looking for a dog friendly hotel. This is definitely the place to book If you want your dog to have a comfortable stay! They provide your dog with a bed and a bowl, but you have to ask for it. It can be hard finding a grassy area for your dog to do his/her business so you definitely have to walk down a few blocks. We got upgraded to a corner room and the room was so beautiful! It was very clean and had really nice art. The hotel itself is beautifully designed. I was hoping for a pool/hot tub to swim in since it says there is one but hotel staff said there isn't. The gym looks amazing although I didn't use it. My number one con was parking. There is a parking ramp right across but it is expensive and the skyway is closed. Really wish the hotel could offer a better price for the ramp parking for their guests

Everything about my stay has been incredible. The Hyatt experience has been infused into the beautiful charm of the previous Grand Hotel. The rooms are beautiful and very intelligently laid out! When I ended up on an earlier flight and arrived hours before check-in time, they were able to get me into a room immediately and let me rest. The COVID-19 safety precautions are fantastic, and the hospitality and amenities are top quality as always. I will be coming back for all future Minneapolis trips!

This hotel is in the heart of down town and is attached to the skyway. The room was small but the bathroom was large with a walk in shower but didn't have an exhaust fan. The gym was amazing, not at all your typical hotel gym. Indoor track, plenty of machines, dumbbells, boxing gloves and bag etc. No view from the room, window facing other guest rooms. The night lights on the beds are extremely bright and kick on if you move to much in bed. We had to cover them 1/2 way through the 1st night, the beds were  uncomfortable and pillows flattened quickly. The thermostat kept making a loud clicking noise, mostly at night. Very annoying, staff said they will look into that issue. I gave 3 stars due to location, bathroom size and gym. Comfort just wasn't there and the room barley fit the furniture, it was fine for 2 people but more would be uncomfortable. FYI - restaurant is still closed and snacks available for purchase are outrageous! $4.00 for a small bottle of water or a muffin. Restaurant isn't the only service not provided at this time. Parking is across the street in a parking garage, convenient location but the doors are locked at all times and you have to walk up and down the ramp into and out of the garage where people are driving. It's a little creepy and isn't safe considering your walking up and down the entrance ramp. Hotel staff was friendly and informative.

Michael (GM) was super accommodating and very kind to us. I would like to say that this has been the best stay at a hotel my husband and I have had. I frequently travel and this experience has been nothing short of awesome.nnThe rooms are beautiful and clean. The desk and chair were comfortable. The linens were soft and pillowy. The hotel was quiet both in the daytime and at night. All of your staff have been extremely helpful especially Gigi!! I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family hands down! Again, thank you for making our trip pleasant and smooth.

Great experience here. Reception staff were very helpful. The room was ready for us on arrival. Location is great for getting around minneapolis. It seemed as though we were only 10 minutes from everything around the city
